Margo at Two Months

Margo is four and a half months old! Can you believe it? Time is flying. I love being a mom. Anyway.

For picture's sake, let's go back to where we left off, at two month's old. This is going to seem super disjointed because I am just putting the pictures up in chronological order. You're welcome.

Margo perfected the art of the Bumbo, and FAST

She loves it, and on the rare occasion that JR and I have a sit-down dinner, she is our centerpiece.

This was our last day with our beloved dog, Theodore. He has a new and very happy home with Mary Lou, a friend of JR's family. We know he is much happier with a backyard where he can run free and bark at the birds, and a mom who can dote on him 24/7 (she bought him a dog stroller! Love her.)

We will miss you and your soft, furry face. We'll miss you curling up with us under the covers in the morning. We'll miss you sitting on the backs of our necks when we drive and your enthusiasm when you meet other dogs, big and small, vicious and mild. We'll miss you zipping around the apartment every time we come home, even if we only leave  for ten minutes. We will not miss having to take you on 6-8 walks/day with a newborn baby. Xoxo.

But seriously, did you see this outfit.
Thanks, Aunt Micci

Aunt Lolo brought THIS little number all the way from London!

Then we moved. (This post is so scatterbrained.) We were lucky enough to find an apartment RIGHT across the street from JR's school, which has been heaven. Moving day was in. sane. I seriously underestimated the amount of stuff we have. I just wanted to throw it all away, it was ridiculous. Thankfully, JR's wonderful family came to our rescue and spent the entire day moving us. Lauren even watched Margo so I could help in between feedings. That was back when she was eating every two hours for 30-40 minutes. Translate = I did not get anything else done ever.

Lauren got Margo to sleep right on the floor, in the middle of all the moving chaos

A few days after we moved we were able to reconnect with our old friends, Spencer and Kelsey. Spencer is a third year dental student at JR's school, so they just live around the corner from us

They have the cutest little boy named Colby, who seriously looks just like Kelsey.
Wedding in a couple of decades? Yeah, probably.

Showing off her guns at bath time

Another one of my favorite outfits. Look at her rolly arms and thighs!

First time to church in our new ward

Starting to figure out assisted sit-ups. (Ignore all the background crap, we had just moved in.)

Oh man I love those rolls. My tiny Buddha

To church

I was going to do a compilation of all pictures from two months all the way up to today, but there are way, way too many. I need to be a more organized blogger. Tryinggg, I will get there someday.

At two months, Margo was 25 1/4" long and weighed 14 lbs 10 oz. Which is huge, in case you have never had a baby. She started to smile, though they were few and far between. But when we did catch one, it was seriously like Christmas, it was so exciting and happy. She was wearing 3-6 month onesies, 6 month jammies and size 2 diapers. She did not like tummy time yet (she does now!), but she did love being on the floor to stretch her body and kick her chubby legs. Cutest thing to watch. And we are enjoying every single second with her.
